Meet Chris Webster – Geographer and coastal fieldwork leader, encouraging youngsters to engage with and understand the natural world.

Tell us a bit about yourself and how you like to get outside?

I run an independent outdoor education centre in the coastal town of Southwold. As a fieldwork tutor I spend my working week teaching students on the beaches and sand dunes of Suffolk. Encouraging youngsters to engage with and understand the natural world is the best bit of what I do.
