As a leading figure in outdoor adventure, sustainability leadership, and mental health
advocacy, getting outside is not just a hobby for me—it’s a way of life. Whether it’s embarking
on an eco-adventure expedition, exploring remote natural landscapes, or simply taking a hike
in the wilderness, I find solace, inspiration, and rejuvenation in the great outdoors. My passion
for adventure and exploration has led me to undertake numerous world-first challenges, from
rowing across oceans to cycling over tidal seas and trail running between mountain peaks.

These experiences not only push my physical limits but also provide valuable lessons in
resilience, teamwork, and overcoming adversity. I believe that reconnecting with nature is
essential for mental well-being, and I strive to inspire others to embrace outdoor activities as
a means of personal growth and self-discovery. I do multiple outdoor sports all the time in different environments, as I love to continuously discover, learn and grow.

What’s your favourite route/ place to go and why?

Isaac Kenyon’s Favourite Route – Lynton to Heddons Mouth Hunter’s Inn

My favourite place to go is the largest rainforest in England along the northern
coastline of North Devon in Exmoor National Park. It was the route that my parents took me on from a very young age and I have still to this day never found more beautiful views in the UK of the coastline.

What’s your fave bit of kit available on the OS Shop?

Garmin Inreach Mini 2 – Offers me a quick way and easy way to communicate in the
event of an emergency if out of cellphone range. There are SOS capabilities if I am in
the backcountry and two-way communication makes emergencies so much easier to deal with. Great piece of mind for when I go very remote and explore with clients and friends/family.
